About Us
Welcome to the new Hofstra University ASCD Student Chapter Club website. ASCD, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, is a worldwide organization that promotes professional development among educators. Being an international group, ASCD is comprised of members from over 135 countries. The Hofstra University ASCD Student Chapter Club formed in April of 2004. We are determined to continue to provide professional development to all teachers and future teachers at Hofstra. Thanks to the establishment of Hofstra’s student chapter both undergraduate and graduate students from Hofstra who have become part of the ASCD community. We hope our website will provide both present and future club members with important information and updates on quarterly meetings.
